Bananas

Hi All,

You guys know how my job is...I find tidbits of information out on a variety of subjects. Well, today I was reading one of the new books I was putting in the library, and I thought I would share this tidbit about BANANAS! Did you know that eating a banana can make you happy?

"Eating a banana can cheer you up. Bananas are the only fruit to contain a special ingredient that helps the body produce serotonin. That is why bananas are often called 'good mood food.'”

Bananas also have Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Potassium (lots of potassium), dietary fiber, and Manganese!

Now that you know that, you are a much smarter person. But, just in case you didn't like that tidbit, did you know that you can get bedsores on the heels of your feet?

Okay, it is from the same set of books. I have much better tidbits, but I might really gross you out. If you don't mind being grossed out let me know...I love to share information and pictures:)
