Hi Everyone,

I thought I would blog tonight. John/Dad says I am on the computer too much, but I don't care!

I did get off the computer tonight and I cut out 6 patterns for 6 new bibs. I am going to try to sew three of them tomorrow night. The 3 new patterns are great. I have one with ducks on it, one with Scripture, and one with antique clocks. My friend wants us to go in business and sell these bibs. Someone told her they would be great for special needs people too along with people who just want a bib with more coverage than normal. I will say that what we have been making sure are cute!

I sold my first item from CafePress (to myself). I wanted to see how the things I have been designing have been turning out. I learned that I really like the materials for the shirts CafePress uses, but I have to be very careful with the lighting on the photos I take. The shirt I got shows a patch of white where there were crinkles in the book jacket. It looks a little funny on the shirt, so I will probably take that design off, but I am glad I bought the shirt since it was my first design. Here is my newest design. Just words, but...

Oh, in case you didn't know I started a shop on CafePress, my store is www.cafepress.com/awesomelibrary. I am working on it, so it is a work in progress right now, so don't judge it by what it might be in a few months.

We are going to Lubbock on Thursday. We will come home late Sunday night. Then, we will leave the following Thursday to go to Jimmy's graduation. We will return home late Sunday on May 18th. Dad is going to San Diego tomorrow and he will be gone until Wednesday.

We enjoyed seeing Johnny and Danielle last weekend. They seem very happy and settled.

One more month of school. It will seem strange this year working until June 6th. This is the first school year that school started later, so we go later. I guess I will survive it.

I will be going to Vermont for two weeks this summer. Then, I might go to Belize with dad sometime this summer too. I won't be home much. If dad has any other trips, I want to go too.

Good news----we are paying off our house next week. I told myself when we were first married that we needed to have our house paid off in 30 years, but we are early---29 years! Whoa - that means we have almost been married 29 years. I think we need a party next year for the 30th, don't you?

Well, gotta go to bed. See you soon.

Mom/Patti
